Yes — Nautica Tende from Rakov Potok makes boat covers with a digital process: 3D measurement of the vessel, 3D design in CAD software and CNC cutting of the fabric. Every project goes through a complete digital pipeline, from measurement to the finished product.
Nautica Tende uses a three-stage digital process: (1) 3D digital measurement of the vessel — every centimetre of the boat is recorded as a point in a three-dimensional model; (2) 3D design in CAD software — a virtual model of the cover with materials and details; (3) CNC cutting — a direct CAD→CNC pipeline with no printed templates, accurate to 0.5 mm.
Nautica Tende makes: bimini tops, sprayhoods, winter covers, cockpit covers, stern enclosures, tent covers, boat blinds, protective covers and sun deck cushions. Everything is made to measure for each boat individually, with 3D design and CNC cutting.
Nautica Tende makes made-to-measure covers and equipment for all types of vessels — sailboats, motorboats, catamarans and RIBs. They have worked for brands such as Jeanneau, Bavaria, Azimut, Hanse, Beneteau, Elan, Sessa Marine, Fjord, Leopard and many others.
Nautica Tende is located in Rakov Potok near Zagreb, Croatia. They operate across Croatia and Slovenia, travelling on site for measurement and installation. They also deliver finished products to other European countries.
From order confirmation to installation it usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. The exact time depends on the stock of the chosen fabric and colour, the location of the boat for measurement and installation, and the scope of the work — a bimini is quicker than a full cockpit enclosure. In spring, ahead of the season, lead times are longer, so it pays to get in touch early for the summer.
