1

3D CAD Design

Virtual awning model created in CAD — direct export to CNC machines.

2

CNC bending of stainless pipes

Polished AISI 316L is bent on a CNC machine with precision in tenths of a degree.

3

CNC fabric cutting

Sunbrella Plus fabric is cut digitally — perfect geometry, no offcuts.

No-compromise materials
Sunbrella® Plus
Premium acrylic fabric resistant to UV, salt and mildew — 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
Stainless AISI 316L
Polished marine stainless steel — low-carbon variant resistant to chloride and weld corrosion.
YKK® zippers
Japanese quality standard — smooth glide, long-lasting reliability in marine conditions.

What's included in the price

All components needed for quality manufacturing and safe installation of your bimini. Quantities adapt to the chosen number of bows — currently: 3 bows.

Polished AISI 316L stainless pipes

Pipes

3 kom

Polished marine stainless AISI 316L

316L is the low-carbon variant of marine stainless steel — superior resistance to salt, UV and weld corrosion. Thickness as selected: Ø 25×1.5 mm.

Stainless braces — stabilising pipes for bimini

Braces

2 kom

Structure stabilising pipes

Diagonal stainless pipes that stabilise the bimini and transfer load to the vessel. Trimmed to exact length on site when needed.

Bimini strap with metal buckle

Straps

2 kom

Polyester straps that tension the structure and secure the bimini to the vessel. UV- and moisture-resistant.

Stainless pipe mount for bimini

Pipe mount

4 kom

Stainless base for fixed pipe mounting on the vessel — 2 for the main structure and 2 for the braces. Includes 2 screws per mount (8 screws in total).

Stainless pipe holder

Pipe holder

6 kom

Stainless coupler that connects bows to each other and ties braces to the structure in the desired position.

End cap for stainless pipe

Pipe end cap

10 kom

Stainless cap that closes open pipe ends (bows and braces) and prevents water and dirt ingress.

Stainless pop rivets

Pop rivets

16 kom

Stainless rivets for fixing end caps and holders to the structure.

Folding stainless pipe holder — railing mount

Folding pipe holder

Optional

Project-specific — used only when the brace mounts to the vessel's railing instead of a fixed mount.

Pipes are made of polished AISI 316L stainless steel; all other stainless fittings are AISI 316 — everything supplied in quantities matching the chosen configuration.

Tools required for installation

Prepare these tools before starting the bimini installation.

Flathead screwdriver

Phillips screwdriver

Allen key 3 mm

Rivet pliers

Drill

Hand saw for stainless steel

For trimming the brace to exact length — adjusted to the vessel during installation.

Optional

Marine silicone (Sika)

Optional

Installation procedure

Step by step — from mounting the brackets to the final tightening of the structure.

  1. 1

    Main structure

Install 2 pipe mounts for the main structure on the vessel. Place the bimini bows onto the mounts and arrange them in the desired position along the boat.

Loosely attach the straps so the structure does not fall backwards — final tightening follows in step 3.
  2. 2

    Braces (stabilising pipes)

Determine where the braces will connect to the vessel and install 2 pipe mounts for the braces. If needed, trim the brace to exact length, then connect it to the structure (end cap + pipe holder).

  3. 3

    Final strap tightening

Once the braces are installed and the structure is stable, tighten the straps to final tension. Verify the whole structure is firm and free of play before sailing.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about marine biminis, materials and custom ordering.

How much does a custom bimini cost?

The price depends on dimensions, number of bows, pipe thickness and chosen fabric color. Configure your bimini in the 3D configurator and send an inquiry — we will reply with a quote as soon as possible.

What is the delivery time and how is the bimini shipped?

Delivery time depends on material stock. When all materials are in stock, manufacturing takes 2–3 weeks from order confirmation. We ship via Intereuropa to your home address, and goods can also be picked up in person at our headquarters. Address and contact details are on the contact page.

What materials do you use to make biminis?

Fabric: Sunbrella Plus acrylic with a 5-year manufacturer warranty. Structure: polished marine stainless AISI 316L (low-carbon variant resistant to weld corrosion). Other stainless fittings: AISI 316. Zippers: YKK. All components are resistant to salt, UV and moisture.

Can I install the bimini myself?

Yes. The bimini arrives with detailed instructions and all components matched to your configuration. Installation requires standard tools: drill, rivet pliers, flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, and a 3 mm Allen key. A hand saw for stainless steel is used as needed to trim the brace to exact length.

Can I order a bimini outside the standard dimensions?

Yes. For special dimensions or specific requirements feel free to call us on +385 (0) 98 269 921 — everything can be arranged by phone. We make biminis exactly to your requirements.
